Explore Cornwall

Sunny Corner is perfectly located in the middle of Cornwall meaning that each region of this beautiful county is only a short drive away. Plus, we are within walking distance of two, dog friendly sheltered coves, a mining heritage site and the pretty village of St Agnes, home to a selection of great pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Slightly further afield lies the town of Perranporth, home to miles of golden sands which are dog friendly all year round. The town boasts a wealth of amenities including the Watering Hole pub which is quite literally, on the beach! Continue on and you’ll arrive into the ever-popular Newquay, where there are 7 beaches for you to choose from, most are also dog friendly all year round. The town is proud of its foodie reputation and there are numerous fabulous eateries dotted around as well as three larger supermarkets.

If you set off south there’s much to discover from the dramatic Hell’s Mouth to Godrevy Lighthouse and Gwithian Sands. From here it’s on to St Ives before meandering along one of the most scenic routes in the UK which will lead you all the way to Land’s End. This rugged coast offers up mining relics, pretty towns, hidden coves and sweeping sandy beaches along with some of the most breath taking scenery in Cornwall.

Spend some time in land with a day at the iconic Eden Project or magical Lost Gardens of Heligan, there’s also the wilds of Bodmin Moor and the allure of the more gentle south Cornish coast too.
