Local Walks

Sunny Corner is located mere moments from the South West Coast Path from where you can roam for quite literally miles. Head north towards Perranporth, Polly Joke, Newquay and Watergate Bay or south to Wheal Coates and Chapel Porth. With plenty of transport links it is possible to catch a bus back so plan ahead to make a day of it. The views are utterly breathtaking and the coast path itself will wind you down into sheltered bays often inaccessible by road. Dogs can join you too, but we urge you to be careful with them along the cliff tops as well as around livestock.

Head inland to scale St Agnes Beacon – there are plenty of loops and trails you can join to do this many starting/ending in St Agnes village where you can reward your efforts with a well-earned drink! However the panoramic views from St Agnes Beacon itself will make the trip worth it, standing at 192metres the sweeping views across Cornwall are magnificent and there are numerous Bronze age cairns along the way too.

Away from the coast and you’ll discove swathes of woodlands such as Cardinham, Idless and Tehidy, miles of rugged moorland as well as several manicured National Trust and other historic estates. Come rain or shine, lace up your boots to discover Cornwall on foot, you won’t regret it.
